Privacy Policy

Brainstormen exists to reduce the amount of your personal information circulating online. We apply the same principle to ourselves: we collect only what is strictly necessary to perform removals on your behalf, and we never sell or share your data for advertising.

Account data: your email address and a hashed password.

Removal profile: the name(s), addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and optional date of birth you provide. This is the information we search for and demand deletion of.

Service records: the status and history of removal requests we submit for you.

Your removal profile is disclosed to data brokers and people-search sites only as necessary to identify and delete your records, acting under the authorization you sign during onboarding.

We never use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the service.

You can delete your account at any time, which permanently removes your profile and request history from our systems within 30 days. Note that deleting your account stops future removal cycles — brokers may re-collect your data afterwards.

Depending on your location, you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact privacy@brainstormen.eu to exercise any of these rights, or lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (GBA/APD).
